Norway edged the foursomes 2-0 to gain an early advantage over England, while Scotland and Italy shared the spoils from a thrilling morning contest in the semi-finals.
After going 2-0 in the foursomes against Finland, Norway were determined not to do the same again against a strong England side who swept past France in the quarter-finals.
Anders Kristiansen and Joakim Mikkelsen won the 17th to clinch a 3 and 1 victory against Dale Whitnell and Charlie Ford, while Espen Kofstad and Elias Bertheussen held onto a two shot lead to win 2 and 1 against Tomy Fleetwood and Matt Haines.
It was a closer affair in the other semi-final with Wallace Booth and Michael Stewart notching an early 4 and 2 win against Italian super-pair Matteo Manassero and Andea Pavan.
The other foursomes contest was a tighter battle, but Niccolo Quintarelli and Nino Bertasio held the edge for most of the match and finished three and two winners against Gavin Dear and Glenn Campbell.
