Welcome from the President of the EGA
It is a great honour for me to be among those welcoming the
teams, officials and supporters to the 27th European Amateur Team Championship.
I would like to convey my sincere thanks to the Golf Union
of Wales for offering to host this event and to the members of Conwy (Caernarvonshire) Golf Club
for allowing us the exclusive use of their fine course.
This Championship is a very important event in that it
brings together many of the most talented amateur men golfers in Europe and I
am sure that we shall see some excellent golf played here this week.
In the hope that all players have much pleasure and success
in this year’s European Amateur Team Championship, I wish you all the best of
luck and may the best team win!
